Jon Evans is an experienced science writer, editor and author. Over a career stretching more than 25 years, he has written on a wide range of scientific subjects, from renewable energy to space travel to nanomaterials, for publications such as New Scientist, Chemistry World, Materials Today and Chemistry & Industry. He is a member of the Association of British Science Writers and the Society of Authors.

Jon is also the founder of JES Editorial, an editorial and publishing company that specialises in explaining complex concepts to non-expert audiences, focusing on science and technology. JES Editorial is experienced at producing a wide range of editorial content, including website text, press releases, technology briefings and entire magazines, for clients that have included John Wiley & Sons, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis and BASF.

For larger projects such as magazines and technology briefings, JES Editorial can put together teams of science writers, with Jon managing the team and editing their work.
